My baby has recently started the phase where she only wants to feed her self, and won’t allow me to feed her with a spoon. It’s a hard transition because we as parents are not sure if our babies are getting enough food to eat, or if it’s all being fed to the dog! That’s why I love the idea of these baby pancakes. They’re wholesome, soft, and delicious for a baby new to chewing who is just learning to feed themselves finger foods! They are also great to pack in your bag for errands, because you can rip bite size pieces for them to chew on while you grab the things you need at the store peacefully. Well… Maybe not peacefully, but let’s hope this helps a little! 🙂
These are also super easy to put together. Just add all your ingredients to your Baby Bullet, then pour your batter onto the griddle straight from the blending pitcher! Hey, maybe you are getting the hang of this mom thing after all!
Baby Banana Pancakes
- 1 ripe banana
- ¼ cup oats
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp. vanilla
- ¼ tsp. cinnamon
- Add all ingredients to your Baby Bullet Blender.
- Blend until creamy.
- Heat and grease a griddle on low/medium heat. Pour batter into mini pancakes on the griddle, cooking about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Top with pure maple syrup, then cut into bite size pieces for your baby! These can also be frozen and microwaved when ready to eat again!
