Strawberry Mint Snowball

Recently my 2-year old daughter has discovered popsicles and shaved ice, and she asks for them all of the time! We made this strawberry mint snowball together the other day, using fresh strawberries, mint and crushed ice. First, blend the crushed ice to get it very fine. Next, blend chopped strawberries, honey and mint leaves and add some crushed ice. We first tried to create a nice ball from the blender, but in the end we found it better to pour the purée over a formed ball of ice. This dessert is great during on warm days because it is a good rehydration source.

Note: this recipe contains honey, which should only be used in children over 1 year old.
