Spiced Carrot Purée

Fill your baby’s sense with the scents and flavors of the season with this spiced carrots recipe! Leave some of the carrots whole and sprinkle with the spices to serve as a festive side dish this Fall!

Spiced Carrot Puree

Makes 1 cup

Good for ages 6-9 months


  • 4 medium carrots, peeled and chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup water from steamer pot


  1. Place the carrots in a steamer pot over boiling water and steam until soft, about 5 minutes.
  2. Place all the ingredients in the Baby Bullet and pulse until smooth, adding water from the steamer pot 1 tablespoon at a time to reach desired consistency.
