Peanut Butter Cup “Ice Cream”

Once our daughter turned 2, she started asking about sweets. Cookies, ice cream, chocolate, and candy were becoming more frequent in her ever-growing vocabulary. We didn’t want to deprive her of enjoying the sweet things in life, but also wanted her to eat healthy foods. As a compromise, I created this peanut butter cup “ice cream” recipe, which isn’t truly ice cream. It is frozen bananas blended with milk, peanut butter and a few chocolate chips. She almost ate the entire cup, and we didn’t feel guilty since this is a healthy dessert.

Peanut Butter Cup “Ice Cream”

  • 1 banana, chopped and frozen
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp chocolate chips

  1. Add all ingredients to a Baby Bullet cup and pulse a few times to get things moving.
  2. Blend until creamy, yet firm.
