How to Make Flavorful Kiwi Banana Puree

We all love to treat ourself to a high-end fruit smoothie where you add extra vitamins and supplements that help you justify the overpriced drink you just purchased. Sure, you could’ve made the smoothie on your own. But it’s so much easier to let someone else make you a delicious fruit smoothy. Especially one that uses fruit that you normally don’t purchase for the house and has the taste to take your mind and spirit to a tropical destination. This is how I got my inspiration for this puree.

The majority of babies who are eating purees already enjoy a simple banana puree. Add the extra sweetness of the kiwi, and your little one will most likely devour the whole puree quickly. You can even add other fruits like strawberries, blackberries, anything to mix up flavors or the ones they love. Mine certainly did. This is a simple, easy recipe for you to serve to your baby. Mornings were my favorite time to place a cup with a lid and straw on the floor and let her scoot it around sipping on a fresh fruit smoothie from time to time. Made with love from mom. Sometimes I think she drank the smoothies so fast she gave herself a brain freeze. Poor girl.

Also, don’t forget to get out the camera for those first food moments. They make the best memories and high school yearbook roast pictures. They will not thank you later. I have been keeping a file on my computer of the best food pictures for a picture album book for when she gets older. Or don’t even say it, when she is off to collage. Life goes so fast. So I have to tell myself to remember these small moments even if we are playing with our food and making a mess for me to clean up while she is taking her nap.
