Don’t Have Time to Bake It? Fake It!

I am guilty of spending hours pouring over websites and magazines, stockpiling ideas that I love and plan on trying. I get so into it that I manage to get myself into a bit of a tizzied panic. Who the heck am I kidding? I barely have time to dry my hair in the morning, never mind time to bake 12 different types of cookies, each artfully packaged and arranged!

While I have the ambition and the best of intentions, usually one of the kids gets sick, I get stuck in traffic, we run out of butter, or I just run out of gas before everything I want to accomplish is actually accomplished. I’ve learned to live with this, but I also have learned to live with the cold reality that sometimes Pinterest has to be damned and I need to resort to Plan B – the easy way.

So, in the event that you find yourself in need of something for tomorrow’s bake sale, but the kids are swamped with homework and your husband has to work late, so you ain’t baking tonight, here are some fast, easy, and adorable ideas you whip up without even turning on the oven.

Reese’s Christmas Trees
Oreo Cookie Balls
No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars
Nutella No-Bake Cookies
No Bake Truffles (treasure trove of oven-free deliciousness!)
Vanilla Oatmeal No-Bake Cookies
Marshmallow Snowmen (sorry – I love me my snowmen!)

Enjoy these no-bake treats and hopefully they’ll also help relieve a little of that pre-holiday stress!
