Carrot Peas Pear Puree

Carrots, peas, and pear are a perfect combo for your baby’s first foods. I would start trying these ingredients (one at a time) around the 4-6 month mark. The more you feed that one particular ingredient to your baby, the more you can mix and pair into a fun medley.

Always remember that when feeding your baby a new food, make sure to just feed that one type of food for 3 days straight. If you do not see any signs of allergies or rashes around the mouth or hands after 3 days, then you know your baby is clear of an allergy to that food. It’s always good to consult your doctor when starting firsts foods.

Carrot puree is an awesome food to start feeding your baby early on. Carrots are high in beta carotene and are easy to digest. They are packed full of nutrients such as vitamin A, C, and calcium.

When adding the peas to the mix, make sure you steam them very well. Sometimes the shell makes it hard to puree into a smooth mixture so make sure to watch for the shell if you have a new eater. You can either strain the puree or wait to feed your little one around the 8-10 month old mark.

Pears are amazing for digestion, especially if you have a constipated baby. They are so smooth and add just that perfect amount of sweetness to this puree.
