Blackberry Kale Puree

“Dang, Mommy! This one is good!” I say to myself as I feed my little one this fun mix of goodies packed into a puree. I had never thought to blanch kale before blending it into a delicious mix, and it makes a world of a difference! This recipe has just the right amount of sweetness to hide the bitter leafy green taste of kale, and you can feel good knowing you’re feeding your baby fuel for their growing mind and body.

Sometimes, I notice my little Elle gets bored sitting at the table while I feed her a puree. I usually try to pique her interest by reading a book to her and then sneaking in a spoonful of the puree. Good luck on your food adventure with your little toddler! It can be trying to find the food they like, but don’t give up. If you’re reading this, it means you’re taking an interest and you’re willing to go that extra mile for their health and well-being.
