Beet, Strawberry, and Cherry Puree

When I made this puree, I’m not going to lie, I snuck a bite and it was delicious. I love adding beets to sweet and tart fruits because they go so well together and hide the earthiness of the beets. This puree can either be just a puree OR you can turn it into a smoothie. Cold purees are great for teething babies, or little ones who are learning to use a straw!

Beet, Strawberry, and Cherry Puree

  • 1/4 cup frozen dark cherries
  • 1/4 cup fresh or frozen strawberries. (Fresh will allow the mixture to blend better.)
  • 1/4 cup cooked and steamed frozen beets**

**You can also use fresh beats and the Baby Bullet Steamer Basket to achieve a puree instead of a smoothie puree.

  1. Add all ingredients to the Baby Bullet Blender and puree until smooth. I like to add a tb. or two of water to thin out to desired texture.
