Doctor’s Advice: Warming Up Baby Food

Question: I just purchased a Baby Bullet for my 6 month old baby. Just want to know how to warm up refrigerated baby food that is kept in the storage cups. Can I submerge them in hot water? – Marydina

AnswerHi, if the cups are tightly covered you can do just that – alternately, put the covered cup in a sealed plastic bag and then submerge, in the event there is a little action inside the cup! Remember, babies like cool fruit (like us) and warm veggies – which brings out the naturally wonderful flavors! Enjoy and bon appetit!

QuestionWhat amounts should I combine to make a blueberry, banana and yogurt serving for my 8 month baby? – Bruce

AnswerYum! This sounds delicious! All the ingredients you are using are high quality and so good for your little one. I would put a tablespoon each of the fruits and 2-3 tablespoons of the yoghurt – so baby gets all the wonderful fiber and flavor from the fruit, but the benefits of the probiotics in the yoghurt, and the tangy flavor as well. Adjust as your little one seems to direct you! Enjoy explorations in food!
