I love preparing homemade purées for my baby. There is something about watching the process of nutritious, whole foods being cooked, blended up, and finally eaten by my baby that gives me a good feeling inside. Preparing nutritious purées for your baby is not only healthy for your baby, but also very easy to do! In this homemade purée, I included a fresh, organic Gala apple, frozen organic chopped spinach, an organic Bijou pear, and frozen organic blueberries. I first gently boil chopped pieces of the apple, pear and spinach together for 5 minutes, and then let them cool to room temperature. Then, I blend them along with the frozen blueberries in the Baby Bullet pitcher to make a batch of purée. This is one of my toddler’s favorite purées.
