Apple, Banana, and Butternut Squash Puree

This puree is the perfect disguise for a fruit puree that has a secret veggie inside. The banana adds such a creamy and sweet factor, that your little one won’t even know they are eating vegetables! Bananas are such a familiar taste for babies, since it’s one of the first foods that your baby tries, so this is a nice transition to trying new flavors!

Apple, Banana, and Butternut Squash Puree

  • 1 gala apple, chopped, skin removed
  • 1 cup frozen or fresh butternut squash
  • 1 banana

  1. Add the apple and butternut squash to the Baby Bullet steamer and steam until soft. Cool completely.
  2. Add all ingredients, including the banana, to the Baby Bullet Blender. Puree until creamy. Add some of the cooking water to thin it out if needed. Refrigerate for 3-5 days, or freeze up to 3 months.
